2.0 FTE. Alice Springs, NT.
You will be part of a fantastic team covering the whole of Central Australia, including across the borders into remote WA and SA.
This opportunity is for a six-month rotation comprising 3 months of community palliative care and 3 months of inpatient and consult care based in Alice Springs Hospital. There are 2 registrar positions on the service, and you will also be supported by an RMO, and be part of a great multidisciplinary team.
You will experience the complexities and challenges of providing palliative care in rural and truly remote settings and have a life-changing exposure to Aboriginal health issues and Aboriginal culture. You will contribute to the on-call roster and support local and remote clinicians, and retrievals, with the opportunity for outreach visits, and you will always be well-supported.
